On 27th, October, Professor Jin Shilong, president of the Sendai Japan-China college of Japan paid a visit to our university, accompanied by Liang Yonghong, director of the International Affairs Department in the Education Department.

One of the purposes of the Prof. Jin was to inspect the basic information about our school. On the other hand, he was look for colleges in Japan interested in communicating and cooperating with our university. Besides, Prof. Jin, vice-president Wang and the deputy of the division of international affairs changed their views on promoting and increasing the international community and the academic community between our university and the colleges in Japan. Later, accompanied by the foreign office staff, Prof. Jin visited the campus.

He expressed that Japanese, Southeast Asian and people from other areas  will be attracted by not only the completed construction and facility of our university but also the profound historical and cultural, human and natural landscape of Shaoguan. He will introduce these advantages to universities in Japan and he hopes to promote the cooperation between our university and Japanese universities as soon as possible.

Prof. Jin Shilong was a professor of Japanese in South China Normal University in the past. Later, he moved to Japan to do research and push forward the education between China and Japan as well as improving relation in the folk. So he usually runs between China and Japan and he has done a lot for the cooperative ventures in education about these two countries.
